Oulu Music Festival

The Oulu Music Festival is a cross-artistic festival of words, offering dozens of events over six days, most of which include author visits and literary discussions, but also music, theatre and poetry performances.

Events are held in restaurants, libraries and in the surrounding municipalities of Oulu. Most of the events are free of charge.

The nine ancient poets, or muses, have inspired mankind since ancient times. Now the muses are once again attracting people to reading and the written world. Books delight, enchant and captivate. They are a place to live, to be enchanted, to reminisce, to wander, to linger - they contain all our stories and our unreadable worlds.
